I still get all my inspiration from Tolkien
A bit random. I never really liked movie-Elrond's robes, they weren't lordly enough for me. Also I had this face edit on Caelest's base and wanted to do something with it.
Every part of the clothes has been reshaded at least once *dies* The design for the silver robe was different in the beginning but the shading didn't work and during my countless attempts at reshading it turned into this.
This could alternatively be titled 'Get out of my house!' or 'Elrond Prima Porta' XD I first used an outstreched arm from one of the female natural poses but the hand on that one wasn't perfect to start with (which I totally understand, I can spend an hour on a hand and it still looks crappy, like here) and when I tried to make it bigger it looked like a disfigured claw, so I scrapped it. Then I didn't know what to do with that hand until I turned away from dolling to revise classical archaeology and found that the statue of Augustus of Prima Porta would provide me with a nice hand pose for Elrond. Of course the arm is posed much lower on my doll which led to the funny 'get out' look. And this is the story of the weird hand XD
